A new Wi-Fi infrastructure for Leonardo Royal St. Paul’s

Leonardo royal london st. paul's

With a focus on developing full connectivity throughout the hotel, HTM was asked by the team at Leonardo Royal hotel St Pauls to extensively map the whole of the pre-existing Wi-Fi network, including; routers, access points, controllers, and POE switches, to replace their current equipment to adapt to their ever-increasing demands.

Once we had begun the project, our team of engineers, expertly navigated St Paul’s utilising our survey planning software to produce heat-maps of the current Wi-Fi coverage. Working in a challenging environment and a tight deadline, htm had successfully integrated a fully converged secure network on a 10Gbps backbone, throughout the whole hotel using state of the art Cisco Meraki access points.

The reason for our converged network is to enable htm to fully support all the hotel’s network requirements, such as admin, guest, telephone, IP TV, digital signage, mini-fridges, IoT and whilst allowing us to continue to add other technical solutions whenever required.

With HTM onboard Leonardo Royal St Pauls feature over 300 access points, which support the 1Gbps internet connection for the Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring exceptional connectivity throughout the hotel. This means HTM are able to maintain all network services in the hotel, ensuring one-point of contact.
